However, my drill was still in good shape and I hated to be so wasteful as to throw it away.I did a web search and found these batteries for almost half the price that Home Depot charged. I look forward to getting several more years of life from my drill. When the original batteries for my 18v Ridgid cordless drill would no longer hold a charge, I was shocked to find that a single battery at Home Depot cost almost as much as a new drill. I bought two and they work great.
In size it is between the standard battery and the lithiums. I get the longest usage and best power out it. I will be purchasing more soon. This also had the best price. I bought two lithium batteries and one of these. This battery has turned out to be my best one. The lithiums have good power but don't seem to hold up as long.
